Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and medication administration.

Implement care plans tailored to patients with various medical conditions.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.

Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.

Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.

Maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR.

Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.

 

Skills/Experience Needed:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical RN.

Experience in geriatric patient care preferred.

Proficiency with Epic EMR (last 12 months of experience required; otherwise, candidate will not be considered).

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to float to other MS units as needed.

 

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing through ACEN or CCNE.

Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state license).

 

Certifications:

RN License (required).

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required.
