JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Location: Rutland, VT 05701
Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Duration: 06 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Pay Rate: $20- $23 per hour on a W2 (Depends on facility).
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Provide basic patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Support patients with mobility needs including transferring, repositioning, and walking.
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients
Accurately document patient information and report changes to the nursing team.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing compassionate and respectful care.
Follow healthcare facility protocols and comply with all healthcare regulations and best practices.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an LNA (more experience is a plus).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Compassionate and dedicated to patient-centered care.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development).
Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program.
Certifications:
Active LNA License in the state of Vermont (VT) or eligibility to transfer license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated as per healthcare regulations.
