Location: 310 East Wardell Dr, Pembroke, NC 28372
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).
Guarantee Hours: 40.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care or post-acute settings and a passion for improving residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess resident health status and provide appropriate nursing care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
Monitor and document residents’ responses to treatments and interventions.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other staff.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and best nursing practices.
Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resident care conferences.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
CPR/BLS certification (required).
Minimum [1-2] years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems (e.g., PointClickCare) is a plus.
