Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for the nursing department, ensuring quality patient care.
Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for improvement.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and healthcare regulations.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing management or administrative experience.
Strong knowledge of medical records management and Medicare regulations.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data related to patient outcomes and implement evidence-based practices..
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Certification in Nursing Administration or related field is a plus.
Certifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (required).
Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., NE-BC or similar) is a plus.
CPR/BLS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
