Job Description:
Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant I
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hrs/week).
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).
Pay Rate: $48/hr per hour on a W2.
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy interventions as per treatment plan under PT supervision.
Review patient medical records to understand diagnosis, precautions, and treatment goals.
Execute interventions such as gait training, exercises, and therapeutic modalities.
Treat patients across various hospital settings including ambulatory network.
Monitor patient responses and document progress in medical records.
Educate patients and families on home programs, especially related to gait and transfers.
Communicate with supervising PT on patient progress or concerns.
Coordinate care with internal/external stakeholders, manage medical equipment tracking, etc.

Skills/Experience Needed:
Demonstrated experience in pediatrics and inpatient rehabilitation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and medical teams.
Ability to adapt care to various pediatric age groups and settings.
Experience with hospital-based physical therapy programs preferred.
Education:
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Certifications:
Active Pennsylvania State PTA License (Required).
CPR Certification (Required within 90 days of hire).
