Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility – Philadelphia, PA 19136
Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 14 Weeks (Potential for extension based on facility needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Range: $38/hr - $43/hr on W2 (based on experience)
Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated individuals in accordance with established correctional facility protocols and standards.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team and monitor for adverse reactions or changes in condition.
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Respond quickly to medical emergencies and follow institutional procedures during crisis situations.
Maintain strict adherence to security procedures and safety protocols while delivering patient care.
Support the physical and emotional well-being of patients within the correctional environment.
Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience – Correctional or acute care experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities during night shifts.
Proficient in medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Comfortable working in a secure, structured environment.
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program – Required
Active LPN License – Pennsylvania – Required
BCLS Certification – Required
COVID-19 Vaccination – Required, per facility policy
