Job Description:
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Corry, PA 16407
Shift Schedule: 12 hour night shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Range: $50/hr - $57 per hour on a W2
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-rays in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Operate CT and X-ray imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Properly position and prepare patients for CT and X-ray exams, ensuring safety and comfort.
Administer contrast agents as required, following all safety and procedural guidelines.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly; report issues promptly.
Document all procedures and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Minimum 1 year of recent, hands-on experience as a CT Technologist.
Strong understanding of CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging protocols, safety, and patient care.
Comfortable working independently on 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting.
Excellent patient care, communication, and technical skills.
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent – Required.
Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred.
Certifications:
Current Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist License – Must have license in hand at time of submittal.
Current CT Certification – Required.
BLS (American Heart Association) – Required.
COVID-19 Vaccination per facility policy – Required.
