Job Description:
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Portola, CA 96122
Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Schedule discussed during interview)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Pay Range: $22 -$36/hr on w2 (Based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Support residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, and feeding.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff.
Maintain a safe and clean environment following infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support care plans and improve outcomes.
Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Minimum 2 years of recent long-term care (LTC) CNA experience – Required
Ability to work 12-hour variable shifts – No blocked scheduling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable and flexible with schedule
Education:
High School Diploma or GED – Required
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Active California certification required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
COVID-19 Vaccination – Required per facility policy (Medical and religious exemptions accepted with valid documentation).
