Job Description:
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Hubbard, IA 50122
Shift Schedule: 5 x 8-Hour Mid Shifts (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $22 - $27/hr on w2 (Based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Respond promptly and respectfully to call lights and resident requests.
Accurately observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards to support a safe environment.
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver individualized care.
Complete required documentation and charting in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills/Experience Needed:
Active Iowa CNA Certification – Required
Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care (LTC) experience – Strongly Preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of infection control practices and resident rights
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Reliability, professionalism, and flexibility in a fast-paced care setting
Education:
High School Diploma or GED – Required
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program – Required
Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Active in the state of Iowa
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
COVID-19 Vaccination – Required by facility (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
