JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Carlisle, PA 17013
Shift Schedule: 5 x 8-hour day shifts
Duration: Approximately 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Pay Range: $48– $56 per hour on W2
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
 
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and design individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, relieving pain, and restoring function.
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and rehab staff to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions while monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and long-term wellness strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols and compliance standards.
Meet established productivity targets while upholding the highest standards of clinical care.

Skills/Experience Needed:
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred, but not mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Ability to thrive in a patient-focused and fast-paced environment
 
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT)
 
Certifications:
BLS Certification – American Heart Association (required)
Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License or valid Compact License (required)
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required, depending on hospital policy.
