JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Cambridge, MA 02138
Shift Schedule: 5 x 8-hour day shifts
Duration: Approximately 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Pay Range: $48– $57 per hour on W2
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to promote patient mobility, alleviate pain, and restore physical function.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
Administer evidence-based therapy interventions and monitor patient progress to adjust treatment as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety precautions, and long-term wellness strategies.
Accurately document clinical services in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain productivity expectations while delivering high-quality, compassionate care
Skills/Experience Needed:
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and patient engagement.
Solid clinical decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy [DPT] or Master of Physical Therapy [MPT])
Certifications:
BLS Certification – American Heart Association (required)
Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License or valid Compact License (Required)
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required, depending on hospital policy.
