Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $40 – $42 per hour (W2)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a supportive, team-based environment.
Setting: Long Term Care
Shift: Days – 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Travel Requirement: 75-mile radius rule (locals accepted; local rate applies)
Float Requirement: Must float to all units within the same building
Unit Size: 40-bed facility
Patient Populations:
Med-Surg (MS)
Orthopedic (Ortho)
Dementia
Memory Care
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): PointClickCare
Active and unencumbered New York LPN license
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience, preferably in long-term care or similar settings
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Ability to float to various units as needed
Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Pay Structure: $40 – $42 per hour (W2)
Local Rate: Applies to candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility
Overtime: Paid in accordance with state and federal regulations
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week (per contract terms)
