Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract in Rockford, Illinois. The SPT is responsible for ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, decontaminated, sterilized, assembled, and distributed.
Responsibilities:
Active Certification preferred (CRCST, CBSPD,
6-8 years exp.
Minimum 6 to 8 year of recent SPT experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Competitive hourly pay ($33/hr).
Weekly direct deposit.

Receive, sort, and inspect used instruments and equipment from surgical and clinical departments.

Clean and decontaminate items using manual cleaning, ultrasonic washers, and automated washing equipment.

Follow infection control and OSHA standards to maintain a safe decontamination environment.
